Good topic. Feminists love to twist language in their arguments. One needs to be able to recognize and respond when they do so.

Really neat. I feel like Hypoagency is absolutely one of the key terms, because as much as Feminism likes to campaign along the lines of "women choose" "her choice" etc the degree to which is applies hypoagency to women whenever they do something arguably negative is ridiculous. So you simultaneously have women who are "perfectly aware of all elements to the degree to make informed choices about matters such as whether showcasing their own body on Onlyfans at 20 is wise or not" and yet this same woman, if she for example berates and strikes a partner in a relationship "is acting only in accordance with the tone of the energy he brought or showed her to". You couldn't make it up.

You cannot have women as a social group viewed as these powerful individuals capable of exercising full autonomy over their decision making to the degree they can somehow make themselves "immune" to the societal sexualisation of women's bodies when they do Onlyfans (aka it's no longer her engaging in negative stereotyping of women because "her choice is empowered and informed") and yet these same women are apparently unable to navigate other situations without being in complete thrall and control to other decision makers.

The only thing that changes across these examples is whether it is in the woman's interest to claim ownership of her autonomy. In situations where it is, Hyperagency is applied. In situations where it is not, Hypoagency is applied.
