You'll drive yourself mad trying to make sense of irrational behaviour. I confronted my ex with indisputable evidence of her affair right before we divorced. That was ~4 years ago. She still denies having the affair to this day. I've realized since divorcing that many aspects of her life are a facade and her world consists mostly of delusion. It's really quite pathetic. I know it's difficult, but focus on your son and building a new life. You will see your stbx for what she really is with time.

As for obtaining your stbx's phone number... It's not uncommon to include parenting plan language that requires both parties to share basic contact info (assuming no valid/legal reasons for contact restrictions).

I noticed that you have been positing this or something similar to this for quite some time. It's time to let it go. You are never going to understand why she did what she did and you are only preventing your healing by focusing on it. Let go of her and her "twin flame" and everything that comes with it, it doesn't matter.
