Feminism is a right wing movement-- specifically it's an off-shoot of traditional conservatism. It's a hate movement that shares qualities with other hate movements like the KKK and Nazis - these movements are always right wing. In common with it's tradcon roots feminism applies strict gender roles ("men are evil, women are innocent") and says that women must be put upon a pedestal as some sort of angelic creatures ("believe women") which men must protect while being careful to watch their potty uncouth mouths around women.

I mention this to point out feminism is a right wing movement but that's not the point here. The point is that whether you think feminism is the Left or not, calling feminists "the left" empowers them.

This is because the only reason the elites continue to promote and fund the feminist movement for the last 50 years or so is because feminism pretends to be the left. Without that constant protection and funding from the elites of the Western world feminism would be far weaker.

Few MRAs stop to wonder why the elites promote and fund feminism. It's not like they actually believe that shit. This can lead to some funny situations like that time Barak Obama was promoting feminism by going on about the fake "wage gap" as if it was real and someone asked him, well if you believe in all this stuff how come women are paid less in your own White House? (of course they weren't paid less there or anywhere else but by using the fake statistics Obama was employing to promote the wage gap myth and applying it to the White House he was caught out).

The elites promote and fund feminism for what they can get from feminism and not because they believe it.

This is just the same reasons that the elites of 1930s Germany promoted Nazism. They didn't believe in Nazism but they had a problem fighting Socialism and they figured Nazism could help fight the Socialists. Of course Nazis and Socialists are bitter enemies and the Nazis set about murdering Socialists as soon as they had power so, the elites were correct that Nazis helped fight their enemies. The elites figured they could control the Nazis and use them. It's the same with Feminism.

Feminism undermines the real Left in Western countries by making "the left" look like hypocritical sexist haters who promote insane shit. This has been explicitly remarked on by the elites since around the 1970s at least. We all know Gloria Steinem was associated with the CIA. We all know the feminist movement is funded by successive imperialist governments regardless of which corporate party is in power. The elites kill Socialists they don't promote them. The purpose of the FBI is to internally monitor and destroy left wing politics (eg Martin Luther King).

Even if you think feminists are "the left" you need to accept that the US government doesn't think they are.

The only reason feminism gets funding from the government and elites is because by pretending to be "the left" they can effectively undermine and divide the working class against each other. The elites don't care about men's rights, women's rights, anybody's rights. They don't care about gender. What they need is an excuse to make one bunch of the working class vote for one corporate party and another bunch of the working class to oppose them. What they need is a way to put men off Socialism by associating "the left" with a bunch of man hating insane people. Feminism does that so feminism gets thrown a ton of money to keep doing it. But that ONLY WORKS because society sees feminism as "the left".

The elites used to promote a lot of racism. As soon as racism stopped working as a means to divide the working class against itself they quit. If you want the elites to quit funding feminism, then quit giving them a reason to. Stop calling feminists "the left".
