On the daily I see how normalised misandry is on each and every social media platform. I see men’s issues being invalidated, statistics in support of men’s issues constantly disputed and being made the butt of the joke. Any argument in support of men’s issues is turned into a competition as if it’s impossible for men to have their own set of unique struggles (which we of course do) as well as similar struggles to women. Then we’re damned if we talk about them and damned if we don’t talk about them. We can’t win. And don’t get me started on how bullying men is substantially welcomed and encouraged under the disguise of “empowerment”. Amongst all this exhaustion, are there any decent accounts you’ve seen in favour of discussing men’s issues positively that bring about good attention, especially popular ones on platforms like Instagram and TikTok where it seems they’re impossible to find? I’m truly curious. A lot of them end up getting banned because apparently it’s best for us to live in denial and ignore blatant sexism directed the other way around.
