I go to a big school and its fucking awesome. Tons of hot girls and social opportunities as well as more opportunities to advance yourself after college because bigger schools tend to have more alumni connections and companies recruiting out of them. You'll never run out of people to meet and you can create a web of friendships that connect you to various subcultures within the school and give you more opportunities for social circle game.

Bigger might be cheaper. Like someone else said more girls too. However, none of that shit really matters. The only thing you should give a fuck about is your major and what you plan to do after college.

Man this really comes down to taste. Both have their pros and cons.

I say the biggest thing is with some small schools its harder to grow. Because small schools may seem like high school all over again. I went to a small school, but some people that went there did not grow at all. Like they were the same their freshman year as they were their senior year.

For me it wasn't the case. I was able to get out and go to surrounding big schools to party. The biggest negative about small schools is that everyone knows everyone. It can be a positive or a negative. But I didn't like that everyone knew who I was dating or something like that.

Big schools. Even though I didn't go to a big school, I currently live extremely close to a big college campus and have several friends that went to a big school. I also spent time at big schools. Big schools are good for the parties and just meeting so much more people. They also have much more events. I mean the atmosphere is just different. Don't get me started on college football game day.

Education wise, it really doesn't matter. Both types of schools will give you a good education. This really comes down to taste. Personally when I went to the small school, I hated it my freshman year. It took me a while to get used to it because it was so damn small. Any many students ended up transferring to a bigger school because of that reason.

I have no regrets now. Both types have their advantages. It really comes down to what type of person you are. If you go to a small school, you have to get involved with something or you will be bored as shit. The parties aren't good enough to keep you sane.

Think of your career after you graduate. You want to go to the most prestigious school you can afford and graduate with the least amount of debt. So, strike a balance between going to the very best school you can get into where you will have to take out the least amount of loans.
