This is a common trick. They play on a shared sense of victimhood and lie about that victim mentality’s origins. Every woman has felt unsafe; necessarily, every man must have been symmetrically on the other side, a rapist or violator.

“If not you, then your society— and you passively encourage and benefit while any woman is raped.” This rhetoric advanced by careless, blamehappy victims.

In reality, most men are not villains or aggressors. But without common misandry, there is no reason to avoid competence culture. Any real accountability is wrongthink and incorrect, it gets in the way of excluding men and leveraging their consequent deprivation to create female privilege.

Yeah they did get a lot of pushback for that. I learned about this song one evening when a catchy remix popped up on my YouTube. Similar protests got made into memes or remixes. This is the one I first saw and I didn’t understand what was going on: https://youtu.be/HCOebhB2CJI

Without the original language's nuance it is hard to tell exactly who "you" in "The rapist is you" is (all men, which they then add the state to, society as a whole, .etc).
