This is Oleksii, student of economics, tennis player. Had whole life ahead of him.

He died yesterday in Kyiv because he was a male.

As he studied in Warsaw, Poland, he came before the war to his family in Kyiv (there were a two weeks break between the semesters). Just after Russia attack, he couldn't leave the Ukraine, because male citizens of Ukraine aged 18-60 were ordered to stay in the country, while female could leave instead of their age. Nearly 500k refugees came to Poland, mostly woman and children. Many female students of polish universities came back to the dormitories and started new semester. Oleksii's life was not that worth to let him back to study. He died in Kiev as a civilian person, was hit by bomb shard.

If Oleksii was a female, he would be alive today in safe country of Poland. But he was born with a wrong gender to escape as a refugee. Please remember about Oleksii and thousands of civilian men that stuck and dying every day in Ukraine, because of Zelensky's order. Men who don't want to fight, who don't want to be a hero, who just want to survive.
