Is it supposed to be funny when pregnant women scream and kick their husbands during labor?

Those sound like internet fake stories. I've seen more than a few babies being born and never saw a mother get violent with their husband. Yelling...yeah, crying...definitely, but being violent to their husband...never. I've seen it a lot in movies but those are not real.

This seems like fake internet stories. Like how she can even kick him when he is propably next to her.

It doesn't really happen, it's just a Hollywood thing. Most just grab a hand and squeeze, which really doesn't hurt. The only time my wife even got angry was at the doctor and I was about to beat the shit out of him myself. He was trying to give an epidural, and about the 5th time, I told him to get the fuck out and he still tried one more time. They're only supposed to try like 3 times at most and give it off to someone else if they fall. Next managed on the first try, but by then it was too late and she had a lot of pain on that one. Still never got violent with me, but did joke around about saying it was my fault (she couldn't hide the smile), just to try and distract herself

It’s funny. In a fairly recent post in which a mentally I’ll man was arrested for touching women’s feet a feminist replied mental health was no excuse for poor behavior. Well, if that’s true, pregnancy should be no excuse either.

The same crowd that laughs at this probably thinks if hilarious when the mother tells the docs/nurses to put a guy's name on the birth certificate because she thinks he's the father. Then the crowd boos that guy when the test shows that he isn't.

I'm not sure. When I had a baby, I was in a hot tub for the first little bit. I kept going under water when a contraction hit. My husband, at the time, would try to hold onto me so I didn't go under, but then he went under too. For me it felt like he was going through it with me. It was endearing that he wouldn't let go and went under the water as well. But I do laugh when I tell the story. It's actually one I tell to show some of his better traits. I usually paint myself as the aggressor, dragging him under while he's just trying to keep me from drowning.

I do like to joke around about dark stuff, but not trivialize what happens to people that's hurtful. I understand the difference. If someone is acting like the guy complained he was hurt and makes fun of him, that is uncalled for. If someone is talking about how he got hurt, like they would if a wild animal got him and laughing about the darkness of it, I think that's okay. One is laughing at the person. The other is laughing to help him deal with the pain of the encounter. Helping the man laugh at his own pain can help heal. Laughter is really the best medicine in alot of cases. It's very healing. So, I think it depends on how it's meant.

I know alot of women DO trivialize mens pain in any situation so I understand where your coming from. And if men had baby's and kicked their girlfriends in labor, I don't think society would be as understanding. But then, if men had babies regularly, society would change alot, lol
