Of course, and there were a lot of Christian composer. As long as the lyrics aren’t evil. Or the music itself. But some secular music also help to train for religious music

None of the above/other. Some music is inherently holy, such as Gregorian, Byzantine, and Coptic chant. But the answer to the question is yes of course they can. The answer choice list is very restrictive and loaded here lol

Your choices aren’t adequate.

Everything is permissible but not everything is beneficial.

It depends on the music and it depends on the person. I know one lady who was saved later in life, when she listens to secular music that she once loved, it affects her negatively and brings up old ways of thinking. She chooses to abstain. For her, it’s not a wise choice.

There are some songs that have inspired me that are not unbiblical, but are non biblical. It’s not contrary to scripture, but isn’t really from scripture either.

It also depends on the content. Personally, I don’t have a problem with songs like “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” but I wouldn’t classify it as Christian.

The second option depends on what you mean by music. If you mean the arrangement of notes to compose a song, I don’t think the arrangement of sounds is holy or unholy.

BUT, if you including the message from the lyrics in that, then there could most definitely be unholy music.

Most of it that isn't just straight-up vapid is worship songs to the devil or disparaging something about God and the bible. Most "Christian" music is probably worse because it claims to be better but it isn't. You can always do the cool thing and write your own music.

any music thats secular just worships something else other than God, and hearing that surely impacts you, more than you think. Its not good. I personally feel very strongly convicted of it, as we are told not to follow the world. I do not listen to music with words that talk about drugs, sex, money, love, breakups, etc. Only music that worships the lord or.. classical music/instrumentals as there are no words so I wont be influenced

The options are incomplete.

Some secular music are plain demonic. Others are sinful in their overtures. Yet others are neither godly nor ungodly.

I dare say many communicate worldly ideas and philosophies which are not necessarily sinful. It all depends on the content & context.

Come to think about it, these days, many Christian music/artists are everything else but Christian. It takes marturity & spiritual discernment to see the difference.

To suggest that all secular music is sinful is akin to implying everything not scripture or Christian themed is sinful. I cannot subscribe to that view.
