I was thinking about this in a lucid dream a couple nights ago and remembered it. There are quite some similarities between them. Obviously they aren't exactly the same, but quite similar. I also find it hilarious that these RP gurus not only have no education or knowledge in the biology that they claim to preach about, but that they somehow think that in addition to that they can just instantly know everything about how women work, kinda like the top brass in the "Church" of Scientology about the universe. Mindblowing isn't it?! So how are scientology and TRP similar?:
- They both come under the guise of self improvement, which is something that obviously a lot of people want. Most importantly, they cover their LIES by calling themselves the TRUTH (the 'red pill' equates to truth in the Matrix movies). Labelling oneself as a TRUTH is a very powerful weapon of deceit because as humans by nature we always yearn to know more and gain more knowledge, which is how we invented all the things we have today. This is also how fake news and misinformation spreads. As someone in Gen-Z, I can tell you that young people are also more susceptible to ideologies such as TRP, Tateism, and the manosphere for this exact reason: the desire for knowledge.
- They both give you a brief intro of what they are about but then make you spend money on their courses (e.g. "how to be an alpha male", PUA, "secrets about women," etc). Sometimes they can even put a hit in the thousands in your bank account. The more you want to know about "how women work", the more they make you pay.
- They both find some unique reason for the entire problem that they come up with to quickly sell you their product, and this reason they make up has its roots very far back in time. This is their selling point, or core teaching if you will. In scientology, its Xenu and alien forces that they say causes depression and anguish starting billions of years ago. In TRP, its hypergamy and the thought that women always cheat on their partner for someone richer or stronger because of their twisted thoughts of biology since humans first walked the Earth millions of years ago.
- They have cult-like followings associated with them. Ok maybe scientologists aren't as extreme in their keyboard wars as Tater-tots and FreshAndFit fans, but they both try to control the people they lure in through aggressive brainwashing tactics.
- For both TRP and Scientology, in the end its always about the money, its not about self improvement, its not about masculinity, and its not about dating advice. That is exactly how people like Andrew Tate are able to buy a $4 million dollar Bugatti Chiron, and how L. Ron Hubbard became known as the greatest con-man in history. They are willing to degrade anybody, especially women, for another figure in their net worth. At their core, TRP and Scientology are both just global scams.
These similarities should be very concerning and I hope they are a sobering wake-up call for anyone in the Red Pill cult. Having had friends who are RPers, I know that many RPers also think scientology is pure BS, yet still fall for a network of lies that uses its exact tactics to make money off of them. Masculinity is such a complex thing, and varies between each male very differently. It isn't something that can just be sold over the internet like RP gurus attempt to do. I was lucky enough to be raised in a Christian family who taught me to respect women and listen to them, to their needs and wants and to treat them right, be a good person. I hope that some RPer reads this and sees through, or comes closer to seeing through, TRPs disguise.
