Getting frisked at airports

In Australia, frisking isn't a big thing, but the metal detectors at some airports are pretty good. We do have the annoying "random swabs" after the metal detectors and I would say 75% to 85% are men getting swabbed. The men getting swabbed too are your white guys, the muslim guys seem to pass through and a cynic would say they don't want to be accused of bias.

Abit off topic, but I went to a shopping mall recently that would zip tie the carriers of only men, in an effort to prevent shoplifting. I’m not sure if it’s the norm, as I rarely go to malls, but damn it’s a pretty stupid practice.

I've only been patted down twice at an airport. Once was because I had cargo pockets, and the other was because I forgot to remove my belt and it lit up on the body scanner.

I was also patted down prior to going into a museum. I was wearing a steel core leather belt that set off the metal detector, and the wand.

Holy shit. I literally just got the pat down from two male TSA officers all because the machine thought there was something being hidden in my pants which sounds like complete bullshit because my pockets were literally empty. They asked me if I wanted to “go to a private office or whatever or have it done in public”. I should mention as it is important, that I have autism so I was of course kinda freaking out in my head so my mother (traveling with my parents) said no. Not to mention, they were very rude as what my father had told me. I’m sure I’ve been patted down before and I’m pretty sure that I have worn a tank top and shorts in an airport before and I don’t recall the TSA bureaucrats having issues with it. Is this normal?

Maybe you look suspicious. I mostly do get frisked. I do hate the new need to take off your shoes, I hate walking on dirty floors barefoot.

Not sure this is a Men’s Rights issue, as EVERYONE gets the Federal Massage these days. One of my engineers got it last trip. Ol’ Helga gave her the full service massage, for sure. Not the benign “back of the hand brushes your taint” that we get! Straight underboob action.

IIRC, internationally, I thought I saw a stat that single women are checked at slightly higher rates due to their love for the “mule” profession. That said? Makes sense. ~65% of travelers are women compared to men (all travel, not just business travel.

That said, what percentage of airline terrorists have been women? Y’all wanted to grow big ass beards to look like like some Pashto tribesman in Kandahar? Fine. Enjoy the government lovemaking.
