There once was a time when justice involved punishment fitting the crime, but not any more: an accusation of "inappropriate behaviour", which could be anything a woman finds uncomfortable, can lead to men losing their livelihood or being sent to prison which are disproportionate sentences and not at all justice, but hell bent revenge.

As much as I reject the old fashioned notion of "an eye for an eye" because the ongoing revenge nature of it would propagate forever (because the taking of an eye would require the taking of an eye, which would require the taking of an eye, ...) until the whole world was blind, I think it has traditional wisdom in ensuring the punishment fits the crime exactly.

For any crime that does not result in objective physical injury, I think the courts should actually consider the principle of an eye for an eye, as punishment for minor crimes: it would certainly cost less in incarceration costs. It would also reinforce the notion of "do unto others as you would have others do unto you" with perpetrators getting a dose of their own medicine and experiencing what it is like.
