I tried testing it out today. Although it's very interesting it's still very biased.

A lot of the answers are censored or skewed, meaning that the AI is still operating within very strict parameters.

It doesn't feel like a truly free AI if you understand what I'm saying. Not sure how else to word it.

That joke also makes no sense. I don’t believe memory loss is significantly affected by sex, and since woman live longer, there’s technically more cases of dementia in woman than men.

It looks to me very much like the ones pushing the anti-misogyny meme are the ones who think least of women. It is they, not ordinary people, who are the most extreme sexists.

No. AI skimmed many text, this is actually the conclusion after reading a shit ton of text. AI accidentally exposed the hypocrisy we currently live in. I tried “show me a fact that is not politically correct” It kept on giving me health related facts. I then added “but not health related “. It gave me a fact on hu-people strengths. A couple if sentences stating the fact, followed by a paragraph clarifying we should not assume all women are weaker. The AI is just mimicking us speaking. When we talk about stuff like this we always need to “clarify “ even the content was not discriminative at all.

Wow this is incredible.

I was at Sundance a couple years ago and they showed a film about how first generation facial recognition was racist because it couldn’t detect black people as well As white people. They made a whole movie about it, MIT did this whole study on it, it was the classic woke circle jerk. I mean, true, it should have been better, but they made out an imperfection in software to be this huge deal.

This is MUCH worse it should be publicized. Excellent find!!

This bothered me when I saw someone post it on Twitter the other day. I spent some time trying to convince the AI to make jokes about everyone or nobody.

It turns out you can bypass the content protection to return jokes that are explicit with topics that are sexist/racist as long as you phrase the request in a certain way. Not sharing the specific prompt or results because the AI responses would probably get me banned.

You guys dont seem to know how AI development works. The AI is trained on existing data - sexism isnt programmed, its literally taught in the samples it looks at.

Now, its possible to cherry pick the samples the AI trains on, but given the number of required samples, thats an unreasonable amount of work.

So if anything, this isnt an indicator of a misandrist developer who made a sexist AI, its an indicator of the prevelance of misandry in society, which taught the AI that its ok to be sexist towards men, but not to women.

Not the AIs fault, it's just writing a response that is most likely to be seen as a response to your question and unfortunately, jokes about men are way more common than jokes about women. It's a societal problem, not a code problem.
