Basically 2 months since d-day..what a ride it's been on a rollercoaster I didn't buy tickets for. It is,,what it is. Eventually you get to a point where it's like..fuck it, I'm gonna go be me, and do what I wanna do..and what I wanna do..is
A: be me..not some guy who's only purpose is that of a butler, maid, chef, therapist, etc...
B: be me..and that includes, now..actively dating, not seriously, but vetting potential partners and just being on the market so to speak..some people recommend "x" amount of time before you get back out there..but, how can you know if you wanna be out there or not, if you don't put yourself out there??
C: be me..being honest with myself and what I truly want, deserve and need. Example: I feel like fucking off for the day with a fishing pole? Thats what I'm gonna do..thats what I need. And if you have a fishing pole in your hand..you deserve it
D: be me..my hobbies and lifestyle should be complimented by another, not dictated, frowned upon, be subject to snarly remarks, or in any way shape or form be infringed upon. This is part of who I am, and your either willing to accept that or not.
E: be me..guys, and gals if you're in here..we men are sentimental as fuck. We men, actually do wear our hearts on a sleeve, for the people we hold close. We tell you whats going on..better listen. So, next time I get even a remote possibility that my partner isn't listening or caring, heres the door. Do no string me along or otherwise invalidate my feelings.
F: be me.. the final one. Be present. In the moment. Adapt. Improvise and overcome. Don't dwell on things, especially things that have little or no importance in life ..thats, really where I went wrong. Pay attention. Who I was...isn't who I am right now.
