It’s been about a year

Guy was a comic genius. He wasn't right about everything, but he had roughly a 100% win/loss ratio against the women he chose to talk with.

Of course he did he was completely combative and Incredibly rude. But he spoke like a gentleman, saying nothing a gentleman would repeat.

He kept it 100. I glad men have this guy in their corner. He brought men out of their shell. Gave them the courage they needed to learn their worth.

He said 10m and she jumped up to be on his Face book. That said everything!

[–]GreatBayTemple 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's why they killed his ass.

Ew no wtf he literally says that cheating is in mens nature and that women should just accept it

He says a lot more than that. That’s probably taken out of context too.

[–]WhereProgressIsMade 5 points6 points7 points 3 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link

Yeah his non-chalant attitude towards cheating troubled me about Samuels too. I took it to be a warning to women that if you want a man with options, there is the risk the temptation of infidelity could get to him. If that bothers you, two strategies to reduce that risk are to stay fit and keep him satisfied or else aim lower. Guys without many options will have a lower risk in that regard.

Studies on male infidelity found that the biggest factor was simply that the opportunity arose which is quite different than how female infidelity typically occurs.

[–]D_Luffy_32 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's because women lose options as they get older and make more money, whereas the opposite is true for men. It's kind like how people will be responsible with money but once they win the lottery or get a big inheritance they often go into debt. Temptation based on abundance is normal for people. That is why people like Kevin Samuels will tell both men and women to think realistically rather than over inflating themselves.

He's not advocating for people cheating, he's just pointing out the reality of life. When you go after a guy who has multiple people after him temptation is going to be there. Same goes for women, you need to be someone above the other guys after her.

What studies are you quoting? Because I Googled it and couldn't find anything like that.

But no, that's not what he said. He was interviewing a woman who claimed a man cheated on her and he responded by asking for her Weight and dress size.

Imagine if the genders were reversed. If a man complained that his wife cheated on him, and a woman said "well you're fat" or "what's your dick size"

If the genders were reversed you'd obviously think the woman was a sexist asshole. Same goes here.

[–]WhereProgressIsMade 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago* (7 children) | Copy Link

I don’t remember the study that put it that way.

The first study I found with google roughly agrees with just a different angle.

If men aren't sexually satisfied (for instance, if their spouse declines sex often), they take that rejection to heart, and it can easily translate to feeling "unloved." In fact, men are more likely than women to cheat due to a feeling of insecurity.

When women cheat, they're often trying to fill an emotional void.4 Women frequently complain of disconnection from a spouse, and of the wish to be desired and cherished. Women are more likely to feel unappreciated or ignored, and seek the emotional intimacy of an extramarital relationship.

An affair is more often a "transitional" partner for the woman…

So if a man is feeling sexually neglected and an opportunity arises, I infidelity is more likely than if those favors are absent.

Imagine if the genders were reversed. If a man complained that his wife cheated on him, and a woman said "well you're fat" or "what's your dick size"

This is fair and is often a helpful exercise. You seem to think I’m defending men cheating. I am not. It is wrong. It is wrong when women do it. It is wrong when men do it.

claimed a man cheated on her and he responded by asking for her Weight and dress size

It wasn't a reaction to her saying this. He asked these questions to every woman who called in.

He was not trying to be a couple’s counselor where the audience is one or both partners. His audience was the larger African American community trying to tackle things like entitlement in women and driftlessness in men.

[–]Minute_Ad_1494 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

The study that you're referencing doesn't say that men cheat more if they have more options.

Every man has the option to cheat. Even if he's unattractive, there are cam models, prostitutes, dirty chat websites, etc etc.

And I know that you're not defending cheaters, I'm sorry I wasn't trying to accuse you of that, but I am trying to say why I disagree with Kevin samuels. Here is his whole video:

https://eurweb.com/2021/unnecessary-roughness-kevin-samuels-tells-woman-to-accept-cheating-because-youre-built-like-emmitt-smith-video/

He essentially believes that men who cheat are "high value", and that women should just accept that if their husband is attractive or rich then he will cheat on them, because it's supposedly "in their nature"

I think this is very harmful to both men and women. He is essentially teaching women the misandrist belief that "men are only as faithful as their options" and that all men are perverts who try to sleep around as much as possible.

And simultaneously he is teaching young boys/men that they will be more valuable if they cheat on their wives.

It's an awful message for everyody

Roughly how many hours of his shows on relationships have you watched?

[–]Minute_Ad_1494 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

As little as possible lol

[–]WhereProgressIsMade 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Then don’t pretend to know what he’s about.

[–]Minute_Ad_1494 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Why don't you make an actual argument against what I'm saying?

[–]WhereProgressIsMade 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

Why don't you make an actual argument against what I'm saying?

I did here:

If that bothers you, two strategies to reduce that risk are to stay fit and keep him satisfied or else aim lower. Guys without many options will have a lower risk in that regard.

This was my attempt to summarize where KS seemed to be coming from based on about 10-20 of hours I watched. It certainly is not a perfect summary but seemed to roughly what he seemed to be trying to get at.

You brushed it off here:

But no, that's not what he said

preferring to focus on the clip you found.

I would discuss KS with you more, but it’s hard to do with someone who admits to not being very familiar with his material.

The difference is, men actually bring value to relationships. Men are providers, protectors, and are expected to court the woman, keep her attracted, and is responsible for her happiness. We also face bankruptcy if the woman decides to divorce us. Meanwhile, women bring nothing but sex 99% of the time, so if she can't even be sexually exclusive to him, then she's literally useless and doesn't belong in a relationship.

[–]Minute_Ad_1494 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link

So you bring "resources" and the woman gives you sex? Thats literally prostitution lol.

We're talking about loving, monogamous relationships where both people contribute equally. Not a jon and his sugar baby.

[–]Correct-Reporter1872 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

So you bring "resources" and the woman gives you sex? Thats literally prostitution lol.

Dating is just prostitution in disguise. You're still paying to have sex with her by taking her on dates, buying her rings, buying her gifts, paying for her if she's a stay-at-home-mom or takes time off work for maternity leave etc. Or you're paying with your time and energy.

We're talking about loving, monogamous relationships where both people contribute equally. Not a jon and his sugar baby.

So you're talking about 1% of relationships? Because women never contribute equally. They have nothing to offer except sex and headaches most of the time.

[–]answering-the-call 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

i came to laugh at you but looks like the taller guys already did..

[–]Minute_Ad_1494 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

If you have to pay women to have sex with you then that's you. But please don't apply that to all relationships

[–]Correct-Reporter1872 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

We all have to. We're all paying for sex in one way or another. I just choose the route that doesn't involve being a woman's emotional tampon.

[–]frankieche 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Haven’t you heard women talk? They say those things and more.

[–]Minute_Ad_1494 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And those women are sexist assholes.

[–]Correct-Reporter1872 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That's taken out of context. Delete this comment.
