I'm sorry but the #MeToo campaign was absolutely 100% limited to women..
The only time it was not was when it was a man accusing another man.. if a man was accusing a woman then he was silenced.

Asia Argento (One of the main leaders of the movement and someone who accused Harvey Weinstein) was accused and instead of the movement taking it as seriously as they had accusations against Harvey Weinstein they told everyone to be calm, and to wait for evidence...

It showed a clear double standard at play within the movement.

If a man was accused then the accusation alone was enough proof to begin to cancel him..
If a woman was accused then the idea was to wait for evidence and allow for due process before doing anything.

Also, many men who came forward were told to shut up because they were detracting from women victims..

So yeah.. no.. I don't agree at all.

This idea sure didn't pan out. Men still are ignored and accused of detracting from women's suffering for speaking up even though men are at least equally victimized.

At one point I was aware of 3 male MeToo claims against women. One was the Argento case Punder_man mentions here. Know what I noticed about all 3 cases? In all 3 cases there was an INVESTIGATION. lol I can't recall a MeToo case against a man where there was an investigation. Against men, just accusations is enough.
