Because those things aren't due to patriarchy.

The same gendered expectations are seen in matriarchal societies. Gender roles are a product more of a pre industrial society.

Feminism has corrupted the conversation in the same way throughout: women have choices, men have responsibilities.

Feminism is keeping the roles going by obscuring reality exploiting unfalsifiable bogeymen to scare the average person into questioning it.

You’re just posting word salad. There hasn’t been a deconstruction of patriarchy.

The sociological definition of patriarchy doesn’t exist outside of fantasy. Society wasn’t created for the sole benefit of men and women don’t exist in a vacuum. Anyone who repeats that line is a parrot who doesn’t understand the role everyone played and the expectations placed on everyone

Even putting that aside, masculinity hasn’t had a positive redefinition. It’s been demonised as the cause of the ills in society

Tying that to a more equitable society is a downright insult to the men who fought, defended, and died to protect others

First, you don’t get to define masculinity and then impose that definition. Masculinity is simply observing the behaviors of men and women and summarizing those that men tend to exhibit significantly more than women.

There certainly have been changes in men’s behavior in the past 20 years and 50 years. In general the changes seem to be a reaction than embracing feminisms ideas about “deconstructing patriarchy”. For example when abortion and birth control became available it was widely hoped and expected that the rate of single mothers would drop but instead what happened is men stopped feeling obligated to marry his GF if she got pregnant (shotgun wedding).
