Extroverted is usually accompanied by confidence, you want to be the most confident guy in the room, confidence comes from being competent at a lot of different shit, especially socially.

Being confident to speak doesn't always mean you should open your mouth tho, if you truly have nothing to offer it is better to listen, and in terms of women it almost always better for her to do 70% of the talking. When it comes to other men, silence is better than rambling. Men speak to relay information, women speak to just talk your fucking ear off.

Honestly, you sound like kind of a dick.

People are interesting, dude. Everybody you meet has their own unique life story and perception of the world. That's pretty fucking awesome, don't you think? I used to be really introverted, but the reason I was like that is because I was super judgemental of people who weren't like me, so I didn't want to listen to them. In my mind, they didn't offer anything of value because the way I thought and did things was the right way, and anybody who didn't follow my rules was annoying. Let me tell ya, that's a shitty way to live.

Forget Alpha or Beta or whatever. Listening to people is a skill, and it's fun if you approach it the right way. You should be happy that girl was "jabbering". It makes everything easier for you, since you seem to not like talking. Imagine if you were with a girl who didn't talk much... you'd have to carry the conversation, and I'm betting you wouldn't mesh with her.

Being social is important if you want to be a leader, but you don't have to talk all the time. Learn how to ask questions and let other people talk. They'll like you more and you'll learn a ton of interesting things when they open up to you.

Again, quit worrying about being "Alpha". And quit being so serious, bro. You'll have a lot more fun if you learn to be care-free.

I use to be the serious type. It maybe cool in TV in movies but in social situations you either come off as a dick, weird, creepy, etc etc. Being more extroverted and social I have been viewed as Outgoing, Cool to be around, Funny, etc.

Remember men and women will shit test you. Passing these shit tests have different meatning though. If a woman shit tests you its to test your masculinity. When guy shit tests you its to see if you can be apart of the group. If you are viewed as the always so serious guy then you just look like you have shitty frame and are butt hurt over everything.

When I was the serious dude at work I never got along with anyone and people thought I was weird AKA beta. I never viewed my self as such but I didnt realize the difference.

Now at a different job im cool with everyone. Everyone knows me. I make sure to stop and talk to everyone. At least say hi. I passed my teams shit tests and fit right in after day 3 of working there. Its like a night and day difference. As someone else said it extroverted also shows confidence and it does. Imagine walking a floor of 100 people and you know everyone and are comfortable as opposed to being serious and everyone's presence annoys the shit out of you and you cant wait to be by your self.

No they don't, talk when you do have something to say, else let them talk. Don't know what the other commenters about, but in my world

1) extroverted is not usually accompanied by confidence, most women talk a lot but are not confident, people who are nervous do talk a lot and fast --> its not a sign for confidence

2) people are not interesting, most people are boring as fuck and talk just to drown down the silence

4) if you want to be social, read something from robert cialdini, let others "feel" they are important by letting them talk, you ask.

5) the most powerfull person in the court is the judge, he asks and let other people talk

there are so many more examples why it is not "alpha" to be super extroverted, if you want to say something, do it, if you know you can only talk shit in a specific situation, better shut up and listen an alpha doesnt waste his time and words for utter bullshit, be constructive and you will be the "alpha" in a conversation

Nope, but could be related to your physique from what I see. Big dudes can be mute and still pull. Little guys need to hustle unless they're special like the leader of a group.
