Obviously. Women and men have different hormones. Different people smell differently due to a myriad of factors.

Well, women generally sweat less than men, so it takes longer after a shower for us to smell strongly. Testosterone makes you sweat more. But maybe what you noticed is that the dominant chemical in sweat is different for men and women because of differing microbiomes. The dominant chemical in male sweat is associated with a cheesy aroma, while the dominant chemical in female sweat is associated with a grapefruit or onion-type aroma. Outside of this, many people find they are attracted or repulsed by the body odor of other people on an individual basis. I think one study found that we are most attracted to the body odor of people with dissimilar genetic type.
