She just goes with the flow of what’s popular with young women on social media - whatever way the winds blowing that’s where she’s a going. She used to sing all these songs for the loser girls about light hearted competition with other girls and pining for the guys, and now the man hating empowerment thing is hot so she sings songs about that - but if it wasn’t she’d be singing about something else.

Like many holywood types, don’t overestimate her commitment to any cause other than her own success.

Taylor Swift is a freaking psycho. She famously produces song after song with the message "we broke up, everything is your fault because you are terrible". Zero accountability, 100% narcissism. Of course she's a pop-feminism darling.

How is that misogyny? "Incel" is used as a Synonym for "loser", so the insult is that only losers oppose Taylor swift, i don't see how that's misogyny. If anything its misandry because "incel" is used exclusively to attack men.

The reason is difficult to take this seriously is it's entirely possible to be sick to death of hearing "Taylor Swift! TAYLOR SWIFT!!!" every day, without it being rooted in misogyny.

Maybe people are just sick of not being able to watch a football game without every commentator asking "Where's ~~Poochie~~ Taylor? Where's Taylor?"

Ironically, this literally does make her the obvious choice for Time Person of the Year.

Taylor Swift uses misogyny so people can’t be mean to her. She has no shortage of shit she needs to be called out on and answer to but she will retaliate with “woman-hater” and her lunatic fans start chanting that and go to battle on her behalf. It really is something else.
