How do you advance men’s rights in your own way?

By coaching and mentoring boys and young men in martial arts and giving them advice as I would a friend. Some of the teen boys I mentor have faced feminists in high school and girls calling normal masculine behavior "toxic masculinity." It's madness what they have to go through these days. I also mentor a boy who has cancer and coach him and give him advice and am a father figure to him. I have also been a father figure for my cousin's stepson since he was 9.

I do so, by trying to spread awareness of issues wherever and whenever I can. That includes subs like this but also calling feminist and woke B.S. wherever I see it. I’ve definitely been in hot water a number of times for being factual about discrimination men face. I’ve been screamed at, called names, kicked out of subs, downvoted to oblivion but I persevere.

Honestly just working through/past the fear of social ostrisization and judgement for merely talking about men's rights/issues is a big deal.

It's very challenging to try to stay calm and dispassionate in the face of some whacko feminist, but that's what it takes to avoid being stigmatized. And even then, it sometimes doesn't make a difference.

I do the same as well. I try to keep it as empirical as possible but I know enough horror stories to write a book about it.

I try to support everyone too, including women's rights/problems. (And exceptions, trans, queer, fluid, etc)
^^^^But I tend to stay out of it because my opinion and stance will automatically not be taken seriously, you know? I'm a White Cismale lol.

That and I vocally spread awareness and fight against Misandry

(And other forms of bigotry but we'll keep this about men to stay true to topic)

^I write disclaimers like this because I know how (reddit) people are. They will screenshot this and probably try to cross-reference my post-history and be like 'This dude is a charlatan/pick me/liar.' No, I'm not. Grow up. Stop your crusade and move on with your life.

jfc. I hate covering all bases. I wish people would just take arguments at face value and not try to poke holes in it. I have to write 6 paragraphs just to future-proof my argument and plead my case. Always under scrutiny in the eyes of the public jfc.

And before someone comes at me sideways and goes "You only believe in traditional gender roles you bigot." No. I don't. A male Nurse is valid. A female engineer is valid. A trans foot ball coach is valid. A queer teacher is valid. A theist college professor is valid. an atheist preacher is valid. Whatever. I don't care. that's your choice. Go for it.

I couldn't care less about true adherence to tradition - but we can't allow ourselves to be so progressive that we lose respect and reverence for our predecessors. You can't be progressive without recognizing tradition and vice versa. Your choice is yours, but I see all stances as individually valid, no exceptions.
^^^As for the eyes through contemporary society? Well. Laws, mandates, stigma and such all come into play so at the end of the day, everything is a case-by-case basis.

Im starting a YouTube channel that would give some light to these issues in ways that I feel other content creators ignore. So I'm not doing much yet besides educating family, friends and others whenever the topic presents itself.

Reading books about men's issues to be more aware of mental illness that men might have. Early identification of PTSD can help a lot of men. Supporting Veterans, watch men sports and buying things for young men. Give men second chance when they do something i don't like and treat women like they are equal. I don't pander to women anymore.

Teaching younger men & boys not only the proper way to be a good man, but that they are allowed to determine their own boundaries and standards without shame.

I try to make sure they understand women are flawed like men and they need to create a definition for a ‘bad woman” they should avoid. And the only people who would be offended to such a reasonable idea or boundary are the people who don’t deserve your time.
