(25M) I’ve been dating someone for about 2 months now, we hang out once or twice a week at most. She’s showing signs of high interest and I like the pace we’re going on but honestly I don’t think i’m ready for a committed relationship just yet.

I’ve got some big debt to pay down, (12k) still living in my grandmas basement, building a business and working construction but I know myself when I get in a relationship, I completely loose focus of my mission and start spending unnecessary mental energy overthinking and frustrating myself. I want to communicate boundaries and set the tone of our relationship (we’re not exclusive yet) but i’m not sure in what way to go about this.

I don’t want to waste neither of our time, she is a really good girl and we get along great. I’ve been alone for a while and haven’t had a genuine bond in years (7) but i’m more afraid of a complacent life than a lonely one. These 7 years being alone was meant for personal growth and although i have grown tremendously there is still a lot of habit replacement and discipline that i need to apply in my life. Would love to get some thoughts and input. I know i need to compromise or let go of my ego in some way but I just don’t know in what way yet.
