I think the father should get the same or similar sentence as the mother. Perhaps parents will learn from this not to be absentee parents. In my job I deal with families like the Crumbley’s.

There is no guarantee they will get the same sentence, James Crumbly is asking for a jury that is made up of people who do not reside in Oakland County so if that happens the outcome will be different and that will set off motions for Jennifer and Ethan to ask for new trials even though we know Ethan should ask for a new trial anyhow. Let's face it Yes Ethan is guilty, but he certainly would have had a different outcome in life is he didn't have absentee parents and I am being nice when I say absentee parents. That boy got delt bad parents but a life sentence without parole should just not be. The ones to get life sentences should be James and Jennifer. They tried to run once Ethan was arrested, they were found down in Detroit at a friend's place when they were arrested, they know they also did something wrong, innocent people don't run.
