How are we men to express our desire for women? On one hand biologically our testes are producing sperm without our consent so we are naturally horny for the opposite sex. Numbers, (Every day, a healthy adult male can produce around 70 to 150 million sperm). It is in our nature to spread our seed and seek sex. At the same time though desire can be a rather dangerous thing. If a man has sex with a woman with an STD like HIV AIDS he is doomed for life with an incurable disease. So what I am asking is that should we temper our desire for women with rationality? Should we suppress emotion in favor of logic? So his obsessive desire over his girlfriend overrode his logical thinking and now he gets to spend at the very least a decade in prison until he gets parole in the far future, all the while his now ex-girlfriend will move on and be fucking other guys in the free world while he jerks off behind bars. I know moralizing isn't allowed here but as reference I just want to say the Buddhists link Desire to Dukkha(Suffering). Beyond women for example there are homeless people on the streets addicted to drugs. So in that case desire is yet again dangerous because the hooked individual is perpetually chasing a high and has no access to shelter, hygiene etc. In the context of seducing women I think its important for us men to evaluate our desire for women by tempering it with reason. What do you guys think? For example one can see it with women who love validation. They get an ego boost from men who they don't even intend to hook up with. Yet the cool, calm and non-chalant guy who doesn't give a fuck about her and doesn't invest gets her wet and intrigued. Thoughts? Another last example I want to give in the form of allegory is the story of Samson from the Bible, again not moralizing just illustrating. Samson had desire for Philistine women despite the fact that his people the Jews were being oppressed by them. Samson ends up in a love affair with Delilah. Yeah Samson is smashing that elite Philistine pussy and he gets whipped and reveals that his strength lies in his hair. Delilah gets him drunk and sedated, cuts off his hair and he is then captured and blinded and imprisoned. So my fellow gentlemen, how do we desire women while remaining rational and in control?
