I met this woman through mutual friends, we are in our 30s.

We hung out multiple times and eventually I asked her on a date. She shut it down saying that she just got out of a relationship and doesn't want to jump into anything.

A few nights ago, she invited me to go to an event and then we came back for pizza at my place. We had pizza and watched some TV. She said she was tired and I suggested she head home.

I've come to realize that a lot of women are not looking for serious relationships and are incredibly passive. So, should I have tried to see if she was interested in a hookup? How could I have gone about it without making it awkward?
