I find myself texting / talking to girls for far too long, failing to escalate to a date. They hit me up to chat or whatever, are flirty through text, but are always busy when I ask them out.

I realized I often am the "attention guy" and that's it. I need to cut my losses and move on. And when I do begin to move on, they start texting me more and double texting, perhaps trying to lure me back? I fall for it. Eventually, ask them out again. And another excuse of busy or whatever. I need to stop.

But anyways, why do girls do this?? Is it true they love attention the same way we love blowjobs? There's many women we'd probably have a fling with, but we wouldn't really want anything more serious. Are women the similar in a way? They love some guys' attention but don't want anything more than that?
