This woman is giving you all the signs that she wants you to seduce her but you aren't seducing her. You are letting her lead the way and you are letting her dictate the terms of the engagement.

Learn how to frame, learn how to be firm, set standards for yourself, and most of all learn kino. Don't ever tell a woman you are down to smash( also never refer to sex as that) and never dictate the terms in which you will have sex with her. You say its a fwb situation, but you don't know what the future holds. You could potentially fall in love with this woman. Telling a woman i want to sleep with you but i won't date you... how do you think that makes them feel? You are basically treating them like a piece of meat that is only there for your pleasure. Telling a girl that you aren't my type is a better way to create tension .

What i would do is this. Only communicate with her if you see her. next time you betty and veronica hang out and she misbehaves call her out on it. She will have much more respect for you. If a girl invited me out for dinner just to be arm candy to make an ex jealous , and I am not getting laid she basically just thinks you are a tool for her own needs.

Never listen to what a woman says, actions always tell a more clear story. From what you have described , she is uncomfortable being alone with you and doesn't respect you. That is not a good sign.

You are her plan B. What i dont get is what do you want with her. Casual sex with a relative's bff? You already proposed this.

In my culture It feels weird to propose a FWB relation before having sex. Usually It goes more like we get drunk, fuck and then decide how to deal with the mess later.
