I had a goal to go on 10 dates by the end of the year, that I made back in March. I haven't even gotten one yet. I'm worried I will not be able to get even one date at this point. In fact, I have only been on one date in the past 3 years! I'm worried about how I'm going to feel about having failed.
There are times in which I have tried to talk to girls more than others and recently I haven't been trying all that much because I am usually tired and simply have no energy to socialize during the weekdays and noticed that all my interactions feel forced and bland, especially at work, which doesn't help my self esteem. During the weekends I go out all day on Saturdays, but then usually prefer to stay alone on Sundays and Fridays. Recently I have also started doing Muay Thai Mondays-Thursdays which complicates things a lot more. I also live alone with no roommates which means that I have to do all the chores in my apartment.
So in case anyone is wondering, this is why I haven't had time or energy to talk to girls and when I do, I get a bit nervous and the conversations don't lead to numbers. I tried using hinge, but I get no matches so I'm not very incentivized to use it. I want to get these 10 dates in because I'm worried about what not accomplishing this goal will say about me. How can I take some pressure off myself and actually get myself out there again consistently?
