After doing a plethora of cold approaches, I'd say I'm pretty decent at it. I can spark up a discussion with a guy or girl, and get instant comfort. I'm an extremely social person, so it isn't hard for me. This week, I went on a few dates, and I lost my frame after a few dates.

At the core, I'll be honest, I'm a nerd. I do have great hobbies like traveling, trying new restaurants, lifting, the outdoors. I do play video games when I'm done with whatever activity I'm doing throughout the day. After a few dates, I become too comfortable, and my true personality of being a nerd, subtly comes out. No matter what I do, I give off, this guy is extremely smart vibes. It's a little annoying to be honest, but people don't understand I grinded to where I got. And what I do I mean by that? In undergrad, I would study all day, and do volunteer work to bolster my CV, things in that nature. I would put off going out, or hanging out, and get my ducks in a row. I guess I'm a motivated person. And no, it wasn't family pressure, or anything. I just have a desire to accomplish a goal, then move to another one. I'm a hyperfocused individual..

I feel like I'm putting on an act with the initial interaction, which draws people toward me, but not for who I really am. How do I keep up my initial frame, or convey who I am from the intial interaction?

Thanks.
