I (24M) have been dating this girl (24F) for about a month now (back into the dating scene after a break). Let me start by saying that all is going very well: we went on six dates over the course of a month or so. We kissed, held hands in public, cuddled etc. however it's always difficult to get more intimate in public, so I invited her to my place last week. We had a good time but didn't make much progress with getting more intimate and she told me she didn't want to stay overnight which didn't help. I reacted to it in a very passive way and the night kind of ended up then. I think the chemistry is right here, but can't understand if it's my fault in not "going for it" or communicating my intentions in a better way. Sometimes it's easy to meet out for dinner etc. but she doesn't seem too willing to come over. We both want to take things slowly and explore each other, but at the same time I feel time is just passing by quickly.

What would you do here if you were me? What would be the best next steps?
