If you love to dance, that’s a great start. Incorporate more playful dance moves that invite a girl to join in. Do a move and invite them to imitate. Have fun, lock eyes, dance, and dance with them.

Good question. I do not have a specific approach on a dancefloor I just dance beside a girl at first and try to make eye contact at her and I would just open my hand inviting her to dance with me and I grab her hand if she is in and that is all. Sometimes girls say no.

The best thing to do is to have fun dancing by yourself, at first. People want to party with people who are having a good time. I'd learn a few more choreographed moves, stuff people know, if you don't know them already. Get the wobble down, lol, but don't be afraid to get into some of the slightly harder stuff. People go nuts for cutting shapes and melbourne shuffle. Youtube is great for learning dances, as long as you can figure out what they're called. Get a few moves for faster BPMS, and a few for slower songs. Most songs are written in 4/4 time, AKA "4 on the floor." They write them specifically to be easier to dance to, though you definitely want to get some things for more intimate dancing.

As for partners, don't worry about talking on the dancefloor, unless you're doing more formal dancing, like ballroom waltzes. Any club worth its entry price is going to make anything short of shouting impossible. For just about every instance, a simple mouthing of the words "wanna dance?" usually is all you can get across, at least verbally.

Non verbally, the way that works for me is to just be aloof about it all, but confident in the way I dance. Dont be afraid to get silly out there! Jump into dance circles, cheer others on, hang with the fellas, and don't think you're too proud to just fistbump and headbang with the crowd. Dance is a community activity. If you find someone eying you up, lock eyes, smile, and just sort of gesture if they'd like to dance. 9/10, they will! Between songs, just ask if they'd like to cool off or get a drink. If not, let it go, find another. That's the floor!
