So I matched with this girl on a dating app. A couple of texts back and forth, I got her snap and we hit it off right away. We snapped for about 2 and a half months with a lot of interest in each other. We were both each other’s types, we would randomly complement each other on our looks, we shared the same interests, we flirted etc. I truly thought this girl and I would amount to something. Usually when I talk to a girl all I wanna do is hookup, but she was different. I wanted a relationship and based on what I gathered, she was open to the idea to say the least. We would talk about linking up several times but I never really made an effort to setup a date. I would ask if she was down to meet, she would say yes but I never followed through it. I always thought it could wait till after my exams or after I got done with my hair (I got dreads locks) I never had any real urgency fsr. The only time I did show urgency was when she had to leave for Mexico to visit her family for a few weeks. (She’s half Caucasian, half Latino.) she was only able to meet the following weekend, but I couldn’t since I had to visit my dad for the weekend. So i figured we would meet after her vacation. Fast forward a few weeks and she’s back. Considering she just got home from a trip and she could have been tired I decided I wanted to wait to ask her out. I also wanted to play a little “hard to get.” I would send her a snap with no context like we usually do, but she wouldn’t respond for the whole evening. This was normal since me and her would never respond when one of us are out. I wake up the next morning and checked my snap. I saw she opened my snap but never responded. Keep in mind she has never done this before. I wait the whole day, no response. A couple of days go by, nothing. How can someone that has shown a good amount of interest in me, that called me “boo” 2 days prior leave me on opened like that? Could she have lost interest? Could she have found somebody else? Idk but I still wanna give it one more shot because I truly feel like we had something. Now that you know the story what should I do?
