I’ve been having lots of success with OLD lately and I went on another tinder date today today. The conversation started off rocky (that’s pretty typical as both people are nervous) but it never seemed to improve. She was pretty, but all her answers to my questions were boring and didn’t really continue the conversation. Despite this fact, I kept the date going longer and spent more on drinks despite feeling no personal connection to her. The date continued for hours despite the conversation being very surface level and there being no connection. She eventually called an Uber home and I’m out 100 dollars. It’s not so much that I’m upset about paying as I’m upset about not just ending the date hours earlier when I realized there was no connection. She was pretty so I guess I just wanted to see if maybe a spark or connection would come, but it never did. Fellas, when do you know it’s time to take the L and end the date?
