So I'm decently successful at going about with women. But lately there's been a trend that's fucking confusing me. I'll be chatting with a new woman, who I've never met before, and when she asks what I'm in school for I tell her that I've already got one degree (soft tissue therapy, like massage) and I'm now moving on to Chiro for that sweet sweet PhD.

Without any variance, each woman has said "oh wow I'm so proud of you"

Which throws me for a fuckin' loop. Like, am I their younger cousin? Do I secretly have fucking Downs? Are you my grandma? Does this reaction seem weird to anyone else or is it just me?

Like- people who have a right to be proud of my goals includes my dear old Ma, and like my old babysitter, not women I'm hitting on.

And yes, I usually get phone numbers, mixed results for how many I bed, you know how it goes.
