Be breezy, cordial and mature. She is just an acquaintance now. Do not look at her unless you are speaking with her, which should be kept to an absolute minimum.
The objective is not to “win her back”. It is to avoid the perception that you are a heartbroken simp who got dissed because that will ruin you within that group.

Ya that’s the plan. I just don’t want to come off like I’m ignoring her because I’m mad either so

I address it. I recently went out with a group and my ex showed up with her new dude. She hanged out for a bit.
"Hey you look great! You didn't look this good when we we're dating... Your dude is a lucky guy (while looking at the guy)"
I am comedian so I know how to work it out but its only awk if you make it awk bro

Depends on how it ended. Was there screaming ? Was there disrespect ? Was it amicable ?
Some exes onwont even be around. Others I'm totally chill around. It all depends.
This is probably not really a pickup question tho

Well it basically ended with me begging her not to like a complete idiot. But amicable for the most part.
I basically got her by acting aloof and playing cool. Lost her by giving off relationship vibes too early. So wondering if it’s possible to rebuild attraction by acting aloof again or if once a girl is scared off and you came off as needy, is it totally dead

Is she even your ex then ? If relationship vibes scared her off? That doesn't sound like it was a real relationship. That just sounds like someone you dated briefly.
You can def repair things. But you need to reset to stage zero. Go back to being aloof. Dont make a move. Make her believe its over. Then make a move. Restart things. But not until you've put some time into resetting to zero
