At first focus on your actions - don't focus on results because there will not be many (as you have experienced).

Focus on what you want to improve about your interactions when out - are you getting stuck in your head, is your vibe good, do you share good emotions, are you sucking validation, are you approaching frequently enough etc stuff.

Get good at holding a conversation for 1 minute, then get good at adding humor, then flirting etc.

If you want to go out and chase validation then you will always have huge roller coaster nights.. when one interaction makes you feel good and then other destroys you.

If your heart isn't into it, it will be a chore.

If you honestly just like the adventure of meeting new people every night, it will be easy.

You should definitely be taking voice notes of your rejections and successes and thinking about how you could have changed them.

If you hit a scenario where you have no answer, come home and find that answer.
