Hey everyone 24m here, my grammar sucks so bare with me. This coming Friday will be my first time going out by myself without the safety net of my friends to use as a crutch/excuse not to talk to women. Over the past couple of months I’ve been working out more, tuning up my appearance, and learning about the different ways to speak to people and what works for me. I think it’s time for me to practice being comfortable in different environments and to shoot my shot without worrying about judgement from friends. I used to be worried about my height but I’m realizing that my game is what matters so I’m ready to really work on it so some things I’ve learned so far:

  • Its not always what you say but how you say it (tone makes a difference)
  • project comfortability and confidence as if you’ve known each other for a long time
  • Talking slower and projecting your voice helps
  • know who you are and what your strengths are (are you funny, seductive, mysterious)
  • confidence isn’t always about saying your the best but knowing you’ll be okay after rejection

If anyone has any tips for flying solo and making the most of the night I would love to hear it. I’ve gotten number but have yet to bring someone home or set up a date so it’s time to change that!
