30s to 40s is where many men enter the "james bond" period of their lives of they're single and childfree. They got their shit together, have a good job, lots of money in bank, physically fit, drive a great car, etc. If you haven't hit any of this then start working on yourself first.

I was single again in my early 30s and online was the best option by far. Just try to minimize the time texting on apps. Once you match, have a few messages and then try to set a quick date. It can be an hour for coffee or something. Hell, you can do that multiple times in one day if you want.

Can you also ask if any of your friends gfs/wives have people to set you up with?

You're at your prime in your early thirties in the same way that women are in their early adult years.

As others said, it really involves going out and meeting people at events.
By now you should have enough confidence to get in anybody's face and talk with them.
