I’ve been chasing a girl a little too hard and just recently realized how off putting it is. I want to change the dynamic and make her chase again (she was chasing initially then I started to chase and that’s when it started to deteriorate).
But if I stop chasing and reaching out after a couple months of the opposite, wouldn’t that signal I’m no longer interested? In other words, wouldn’t she interpret that as a signal to move on?
Assuming she reaches out, I’ve been toying with the idea of telling her I’m done chasing but as long as she initiates I’ll try to find time for her if I can. How do you think that would play? Better to let it go unspoken or would being direct in this situation help?
The idea being I’m letting her know I’m still interested, but less invested than I was before. And I also don’t care if we stop seeing each other. Just trying to find a way to get things back into my frame.
