The gym is pretty easy to spark a conversation.

You can say things like:

“Hey can I get that weight/machine after you?” She says “yes” “Btw my name is …. What’s yours?” She tells you her name Then you continue making small talk

Or

Say “hey are you a trainer here?” She laughs and says no You respond with something like “oh I was going to ask you for some advice… (talk about whatever exercise she’s doing and if she’s into you she’ll be open to talk)

Or

Say “hey can you get me on a spot” Exchanges names, make small talk, she spots you.

Then after small talk for a few minutes and you see she’s clearly into then go for a close.

I usually go with one of these:

Wanna grab a bite to eat/smoothie with me after the gym?

Want to workout together sometime?

I’m gonna get back to my workout. What’s your number?

Just keep it casual. Be confident. Keep eye contact. Don’t be creepy. If she’s vibin throw in a light compliment.

Hitting on a girl at the gym is not frowned upon.

Encroaching is frowned upon.

It's just overgeneralized, think about the difference here.

Don’t go for the stupid games like “can you spot me” or “can I get that machine after you”. Next time you see her, walk over to her with a smile, say “hi my names X, what’s your name?” She will smile back and introduce herself feeling cute and self conscious, waiting for you to say the next part. Then you say, “I’ve noticed you a few times and I think you noticed me too, I was intrigued to know more about you. Do you want to do X together some time?”

If you’re 100% sure she’s interested just based on the way to looked at you, then this is THE move to make. Why? It’s 100% honest, 100% confident, and thus not at all manipulative or creepy. She will come away from this interaction feeling giddy and excited.

Also another tip. One of my favourite first dates is not to go for coffee, but to take the girl to a few clothes shops for yourself, and for her. Not to buy one another anything, but have an idea in mind of some things you’d like for yourself, and get some input from her when choosing. On this journey there is so much opportunity to find out about one another’s style, sensibilities, and you’re always walking to many different places together, lots of observational conversation to be had. Plus, if you let her have some input in one of the items you buy for yourself where you mutually agree it looks great, it immediately builds this bond that says we’re on the same wavelength. And vice-versa.

The whole coffee first date thing is shit. It feels like a 2 way job interview without a CV. Terrible idea. Plus with the shopping game you can grab a coffee in between shops.

Every time I’ve done this I’ve had the girl practically begging to see me again as soon as possible.

Fact that you are introvert has nothing to do with talking in this situation. I would try to talk with her, as you said there is already communication with eyes, just dont ask her for contact for some time

Why don't you try doing something simple like saying "Hi". If she's sending the signals what's the big deal? I don't get this generation.
