Guys who were terrible with girls, but became very good with them later, what is your story ?

Tall skinny and awkward growing up, small town and was a year ahead (younger that everyone in class) undiagnosed ADD. Tried to be sooo nice, and had lots of friendships with women, but always scared to show desire. Started playing sports and grew into a body, got recruited to play university ball- went and was around guys older, and some just wayyyyy better with women. Got better with women, (still have a hard time showing/expressing sexual desire) but also constantly had opportunities, and a built in social circle, and status.

Early 20s software eng. You are an algorithm to date well. That algorithm needs good quality data to train on and learn. Thus your chief concern is not how to get girls, but how to meet the most girls in the most diversity of situations in the way that gives you the clearest signal on how to get better.

A lot of hard work and studying pickup. I used to write down jokes and rehearse them before parties. That's how bad I was with people. But eventually it got better as I learned which techniques worked for me and which didn't.

The first time I tried night game I set my target at 10 approaches and was amazed that i got like 3 numbers. It was a huge confidence boost. not every night has been that good, but once you know how good it can be it really helps your confidence

The way i started? In Jr. High I was a shy and awkward little kid. Yet i had crushes on a lot of girls in my classes. I got teased for being a shy & quiet dude.

High School came. I thought “fuck it i want a babe around my arm this time” So I flirted, hit on and tried to be charming lol. Rejected left & right!

It wasn’t until my sophomore year when I was doing group work in class and the group assigned to me included my crush. So I took my chance and flirted with her. It resulted in her being my first GF for a year and we lost our v-cards to each other. I was 16 with an active sex life.

After graduating life was all about sex & money because I was out there clubbing, partying and getting babes naked lol. FWB’s, ONS and dating became part of my routine.

Then i met my wife & I still partied lol. Ended up confessing to a lot shit I was feeling guilty for and she still stuck by me. Anyway thats my story in a nutshell.

what was holding me down? well back then, it was lack of confidence, bad acne, bad hair and a bad wardrobe.

what did i do differently? I got bold, i got braver and I was sick of being scared of approaching girls. Once I shook that off I got in the game.

what did I learn? patience, you may not attract every girl but you will attract some.
