Talk about random shit then. Or Plan B is to listen to what she says and take something she said and turn it into a question. Have some banter, flirt, make some jokes.

Experience is the answer.

Figure out what you want and ask. You want to go out to the mall? Tell her you want her to come with you. Unfortunately, the hard part is, you will likely come off as creepy sometimes. It sucks and you want to avoid that. You have to figure out what works for you. Start talking to everyone you can. Strike up conversations in line with girls your age. If you feel like you can, get a number or set something up for later that day so you can carry on with the momentum.

Stay away from texting. You’ll just shoot yourself in the foot by looking needy
