Lead in all interactions you have with dates. That means knowing exactly what you’re doing, where you’re going, and where you will end up at the end of the night.
The mindset to adopt when going on a date is that it’s something you were going to do anyways and she’s along for the ride.
LEAD and don’t be afraid to escalate physically. Try this line some time in the night “I’m trying really hard not to kiss you right now”. Gauge her receptiveness and go for the kiss. Just because she turned away once where she just met you doesn’t mean she’ll do it again. Good luck!

Go on the date and keep flirting. The flirting is what got you the date. Not the attempted kiss. What are you also doing trying to kiss this girl? Your post didn't read as if you picked the right time to do that more like you gambled and it paid of long term because you apparently can flirt despite failing at kissing her. It's gonna be quite clear when she wants you to kiss her, look for that moment on the date, of it happens. If you can keep up flirting and get some kino going it should be easy as long as you make it tempting to do so.
If in doubt as to whether or not she wants to kiss you, ask her, at good moment in a place where it makes sense: Do you want to kiss me? If she says no, the answer is obvious: I didn't say you could, you just looked like you had something on your mind. If she says maybe, the answer is obvious: Wanna find out? If she says yes, the answer is pretty obvious....
