I believe you're over-thinking dude. Literal waitresses don't play hard to get lol and I don't think she even cares enough to classify you as a beta male. Lol you guys read wayyyy too much into basic, random interactions.

You were probably putting out a vibe that you wanted her to like you. Your friend was probably more natural and didn’t really care either way.

The more you want people’s approval, the more they dislike you.

But as others have said, don’t stress out over a minor social interaction. Every guy gets side eye or dismissiveness from females out in public, it’s not unique to you.
