It can probably be treated, but obviously what treatment depends on what the issue is.

Address the uncomfortable situation directly and tell her you want to have a discussion with her about an awkward topic, then express your concern. Don't pretend to know what's going on. Ask, don't tell. Come from a place of curiosity and concern, show empathy and understanding. This is a great opportunity for you to build trust with her, but any form of shame or judgement will ruin it instead. If you can't discuss it without judgement then don't have the conversation.

You should also do some homework first. Look up Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) or other possible causes so if she already knows what it is you can have an informed conversation.
