Text is a hard place to get across personality. Don't text back too often or the conversation will dry up too quick. Try to make an excuse on why you can't text and need to talk in person, such as "This is a great conversation, but I need to go workout now. Want to meet me at the cafeteria for lunch tomorrow and we can continue this?"

You failed by not sparking attraction over text. Learn how to make women horny, how to make them feel lust online. Then apply it to her. But dont defuse the tension with humour or romance, which will create frustration towards you. Leave them bathing in the feel of sudden horniness. They will start thinking about you in a very different way

Start to use texting as a method of setting up a date or hangout and try to not use it for meaningless conversation. Most of the time it's just seen as attention and something for them to do, when they get bored of you like a toy they just pick up another one. Set up a date that isn't too far out and then just be quiet. I think a lot of men (me included) fuck things up with text, hangouts can go great but then you end up ruining it by texting something stupid or too much/too often.
