keep yourself disciplined if you’re going to be in places that tempt going against the grain of your eating patterns

i try to not eat junk food or over indulge during the week. Especially if I know ill be drinking or going to a party on the weekend. Then at parties ill enjoy myself but not over do it either. Maybe I get drunk and order chicken fingers but at least the week was balanced and the upcoming week will be too.

Order light beers and drink lots of water between drinks.

It's a trade off. I like a daily walk and body weight exercises, but then I fucked my foot up and had to take a couple weeks off. I spent it learning SEO skills and getting better with my writing and learning all sorts of stuff, which normally I wouldn't have done nearly as much.
If you're going to eat chicken fingers and drink, know in the back of your mind that you have to hit it hard the next day. Otherwise it just turns into a bad habit.
Greatest thing about exercise to me is that you can catch up on music/podcasts/news while you do it and it's mildly distracting. But some workouts are best done in silence, just you with your thoughts.
Only you know how to get after it properly...it's your life.
