You’re overthinking. I know it’s easier said than done but just try to relax and enjoy it. Every girl is different in my experience especially with lights. However, I would recommend under the covers to prevent you guys from getting too cold. I have no idea if this last part is true but I had an ex tell me it was easier for her to get off when she was warm but not hot.

I dim the lights to make a woman feel comfortable the first two times cuz not all women feel secure with their body or to want to display themselves publicly to you so soon. So by dimming or off lights stops the flake. Then I do lights on thereafter.
