Move on, talk to other girls. Flirting with you took 0 commitment or effort and it was fun . Going out to dinner? That’s different.

She has to decide if it’s worth spending 4 hours getting ready, doing makeup, finding the right outfit so that she can spend another 3 at a restaurant staring at a stranger who’s probably going to ask her if she has siblings, or her favorite color or a million interview while trying to eat a meal that she can’t really enjoy because she doesn’t want to go to town on the food in front of her.

Dinner dates suck. If I sorta liked a girl and she asked me out for dinner I’d say no too.

You don’t have to forget about her forever. If something organic comes up (that funny thing that you guys were laughing about happened again!) then restart the convo. But don’t hit her up with “how are you “
