I posted my photo (trans woman) to tinder and I replied to several of the 800 guys that liked me in the first week. None of them liked that I was trans. It was literally the first two words of my profile “trans woman for …” haha, talk about demand exceeding supply for the bio girls. For fun I posted my guy profile. Ten matches in two months. I messaged a couple of them. No response. One messaged me. Then ghosted after me responding with something clever like “I’m having a great day, how about you?” I don’t know what to think of any of it, but that Tinder is not made for me.

If we somehow collectively began swiping less and even passing up women we thought were out of our league, we would devalue them by giving them less options and thus force them to be less picky and more realistic, right? Thereby increasing our matches in the end.

Lmfao. The most weird question i have read in this sub. Dude this is real life, a life where there is massive competition, not socialism.
You are asking to redistribute the girls among all men, as if they were some kind of object or something 😆
The reason you don’t get more matches on you isn’t because most men swipe right, it’s because you are just unattractive in your photos.
Women will always be picky, and men will always go for what they want. When i go for a girl i’m not thinking of how can i help a random dude i don’t know from tinder so he can get more matches lmfao.

I have no issues with matches lmfao it’s just a crazy shower thought I had. I personally feel that dating apps have heigtened women’s sense of worth which has perpetuated a male-initiative dominant culture that only serves to hurt men and lead to unwanted advances for women. We can agree to disagree, feel free to attack the ideas but no need to come at me and assume this is all coming from an insecure place lmfao. To each their own.
